The Venue
The Surgical Skills Unit is housed in the modern Quincentenary Building which also offers space for lectures, breakouts and exhibitions. The Surgical Skills Unit consists of two wet labs, dry lab/seminar room and support services. Lunches will be provided on site and there is also an onsite hotel: Ten Hill Place. All profits made are funded back into the College itself to promote patient care and surgical training around the world.

How to get here: Travelling by air the Edinburgh International airport is one of Scotland’s busiest airports with over 120 destinations worldwide. The airport is 8km from the city centre with frequent Airlink buses, trams or taxis to bringing you into the city. To Surgeons Quarter by taxi it is under a 30 minute journey. By rail, Waverley train station is in the heart of the city centre with trains from all major cities. The station is located roughly a ten minute walk from our venue. |
